Getting to UBC from YVR
UBC can be reached from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) by car, taxi or public transportation.

Public Transportation: The overall travel time by public transportation
from YVR to UBC is approximately 50-60 minutes. The fare is $8.75 CAD* and tickets can be purchased
at automated ticketing machines at the Canada Line station. Payment is accepted in coins, bills.
Debit and credit cards are accepted by most machines.
Take the Canada Line (departure just outside the International Terminal) to Broadway, cross the
street to the North side of Broadway and catching the westbound 99 B-line bus. Alternatively,
delegates can get off at Oakridge / 41st Station Northbound and take the TransLink bus (# 49, 99, 480, 41 or 43)
at West 41st at Ash St. Westbound to UBC.
* Only if departing from YVR due to a $5 AddFare imposed on regular fare. Regular bus fare
is $2.75/4.00/5.50 (for 1/2/3 zone respectively). More fare and schedule information can be

Taxi services are available at the domestic and international terminal. Taxi signs guide arriving guests to the taxi departure bays just outside the terminals. Taxis charge a metered rate based on time and distance travelled. The approximate fare from YVR to UBC is $50 including 15% tip.
Parking at UBC: Delegates staying at the West Coast Suites, Gage Towers or Marine Drive Residences can park for $7.00 per day plus taxes. Delegates driving to the campus can park at any of the parkades for $14.00 maximum on weekdays, and $7.50 on evenings and weekends. Click here for information.
