Vice-President of IAOEES, Dr. Shuhui Sun has been elected RSC Fellow 2024


Sincerest Congratulations to Vice-President of IAOEES, Dr. Shuhui Sun on RSC Fellow 2024.


Dr. Shuhui Sun has been officially named a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada (RSC), which brings together the country’s most eminent researchers.



Shuhui Sun is an internationally renowned expert in clean energy technologies. He has made important contributions to overcoming critical challenges in the clean energy sector, particularly in green hydrogen production, hydrogen fuel cells, and high-energy, safe and long-life batteries. He serves as Executive Editorin-Chief and an editorial board member for over ten international scientific journals. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering.

Founded in 1882, the Royal Society of Canada comprises the Academies of Arts, Humanities and Sciences, and The College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists. The RSC recognizes excellence, advises the government and the larger society, and promotes a culture of knowledge and innovation in Canada and with other national academies around the world.


Fellowship in the Royal Society of Canada is the country’s highest distinction for the arts, sciences, humanities, and social sciences. Dr. Sun, who will join the Society’s Academy of Science, was selected by his peers alongside 104 others.
